Britney Spears, Demi Lovato Will Bring 'Serious Wisdom' to 'X Factor'

MTV News talks to 'So You Think You Can Dance' cast about Fox's decision to enlist the two pop stars for the reality singing show.
By Jocelyn Vena

<P><b>NEW YORK</b> &#8212; As the fall TV season continues to make news, Fox has had the most buzz thanks to the <a href="/news/articles/1685004/demi-lovato-x-factor-judge.jhtml">news that Demi Lovato</a> and <a href="/news/articles/1684879/britney-spears-x-factor-deal-judge.jhtml">Britney Spears will sit down</a> beside Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid as female judges on "The X Factor," replacing Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul.</P><P>On Monday (May 14), as talent from many of the network's leading shows lined up to talk to the press at the Fox event, what everyone really wanted to know was how these two artists might fit on the reality competition show.</P><P>Given that both have made names for themselves thanks to their own unique charms as pop stars, some of the more seasoned network vets offered up some sage advice for the reality show newbies. MTV News chatted with the folks of "So You Think You Can Dance," in the hours before the presentation where they were confirmed, to get their sage advice for Brit and Demi.</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="'So You Think You Can Dance' Cast Weigh In On Britney Spears, Demi Lovato For 'X Factor'" id="vid:768829" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>"You know, I don't have any advice for those ladies," "SYTYCD" host Cat Deeley explained. "What I do like about it though is they will be able to absolutely impart some serious wisdom. I love the idea that they've been in the business for so long and since being kids and so quite often they've had successes and they've had failures on things.</P><P>"And I think the most important thing is the mistakes we make," she added. "You learn so much from mistakes that you make and I think they'll be able to impart their wisdom to the new kids coming through. I think it's a great booking."</P><P>Judge Mary Murphy seemed excited by the chance to run into the girls at Fox-related events, and even shared that she'd love to see dancer Britney make an appearance on her show as well.</P><P>"So she would be a good [guest] too if she wanted to pop on over, but I think she's going to be a busy young woman with everything she has going on," she said. "I think we'll tune in to find out what the heck she's gonna say!" she said, going on to share some judging advice. "Just try to speak from the heart and you can't go wrong."</P><P>While Murphy and Deeley focused on the positive when it comes to their highly publicized judging spots, Nigel Lythgoe wondered if the singers (Britney, 30, and Demi, 19) might be too young for a mentor-type position.</P><P>"Well they've got to look on it as a brand-new show, to be frank. I don't think they need to look at the first season. I think they've got to be honest as they can be," he said of coming in for season two. "They're both artists and artists will always couch any criticism because they know that they've been criticized, so they've got to ignore that.</P><P>"They've got to be as honest as they can be with their contestants and just inspire them to be better," he said, before sharing his one hesitation about them.</P><P>"My only reservation is they're both young and I do think that mentors should be of an age," he added, joking he fears it might put older experts, like him, out of a job. "I do think mentors have had so much experience before they mentor. At the same time, both of these young ladies have had incredible personal experience and been through so much in their own lives that hopefully they can bring that to the party too. But at the end of the day, they are going to take newcomers and literally push them through a reality television competition. It's tough."</P><P><i>Do you think Demi Lovato and Britney Spears will make good judges on "The X Factor"? Leave your comment below!</i></p>

First Look: Chloë Moretz Surfaces On The Set Of The ‘Carrie’ Remake Film

Back in April we learned that the decision was made for the production of a remake version of the 1976 Stephen King horror film Carrie. As you may recall, Chloë Moretz won the role of Carrie and Julianne Moore won the role of her abusive, psychotic mother. Today we get our first look at Moretz on the set of Carrie. It’s unclear if the photo below is of Chloë in character as Carrie or just of Chloë in her everyday dress on her way to the set … but it is possible that we now know what the new Creepy Carrie, Creepy Carrie looks like. Check out the photo below.

This is another remake film that gives me pause. The original 1976 film, starring Sissy Spacek, is such a perfect classic film … it is one of those horror films that has left an indelible mark on me. I know, for certain, that no remake film will every be able to surpass that film. BUT, the possibility remains that a decent remake can be made. Chloë Moretz is an excellent actress and Julianne Moore will make an amazing psycho mom … even tho I know in my heart this new film won’t be better than the original, I am very curious to see how this turns out. I think I shall remain cautiously optimistic. But I’m telling you right now, if they don’t get the pig’s blood scene down perfectly, there will be HELL to pay!

What do y’all think? Are YOU looking forward to this Carrie remake?

Ke$ha Previews 'Supernatural' New Track

Producer Dr. Luke unveils a snippet of a song from her upcoming album.
By James Montgomery

<P>It's not exactly <a href="/news/articles/1663946/kesha-new-album.jhtml">"balls-out irreverent rock and roll"</a> &#8212; quite the opposite, in fact &#8212; but with one 40-second snippet, Ke$ha is serving notice that her new album is most definitely going to be a departure.</P><P>On Wednesday (June 6), frequent Ke$h collaborator Dr. Luke gave fans <a href="http://soundcloud.com/drluke/snippet-super" target="_blank">a sneak peek</a> at a song from her long-in-the-works new album, an all-too-brief preview that features her cooing about a lover's prowess &#8212; "When you take my body to the stars/ I believe it/ Boy, this love is supernatural/ Can you feel it?" over a bed of shimmering synths and knotty bass that gradually builds to a twisting, rapidly contrasting electronic break.</P><P><iframe width="100%" height="166" scrolling="no" frameborder="no" src="http://w.soundcloud.com/player/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fapi.soundcloud.com%2Ftracks%2F48805816&amp;auto_play=false&amp;show_artwork=true&amp;color=ff7700"></iframe></P><P>It's the kind of high-gloss production she largely avoided on her breakthrough <a href="/news/articles/1629566/keha-partying-pop-genius-weve-all-been-waiting.jhtml"><i>Animal</i></a> album, and while we certainly can't figure out how the track fits in with her <i>other</i> collaborations (she's reportedly worked with everyone from <a href="/news/articles/1685827/kesha-flaming-lips-tattoo.jhtml">Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne</a> to Iggy Pop on the still-untitled new album), the new track certainly showcases her maturation. And thanks to Ke$h herself, at least we know what the new track is about: having sex with ghosts.</P><P>Yes, just hours after Dr. Luke leaked the snippet, Ke$ha took to her Twitter account to mock-chastise her producer, <a href="https://twitter.com/keshasuxx/status/210428157554196480" target="_blank">writing</a>: "You leaked my song about me having sexy time with a ghost, @thedoctorluke," she wrote. "Now everyone knows I get it on with ghosts!"</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Ke$ha Says New Album Will Be ' Balls-Out, Irreverent Rock'" id="vid: 652875" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>Somehow, that doesn't surprise us. There's still no firm release date for Ke$ha's new album, which she began working on in February. But, from the sound of one snippet, at least, it sounds like things are progressing quickly. And, apparently, ghostly.</P><P><i>What do you think of the sneak peek? Let us know in the comments!</i> </p>

Jessica Simpson Swears Weight Watchers Is NOT Forcing Her To Lose Weight

Last last month we learned that new mom Jessica Simpson signed a deal with Weight Watchers to become their newest celebrity spokesperson. Altho the terms of the deal have not been officially confirmed, I think it is safe to say that Jessica was paid handsomely by the brand to appear in an advertising campaign and lose weight. Out of the blue, Jessica posted a message on her official Twitter profile letting everyone know that Weight Watchers isn’t pressuring her to lose weight … which seems odd since they are paying her reported millions to do just that. Hmmm.

Just so everyone knows…Weight Watchers hasn’t put ANY pressure on me! I’m trying to be as healthy as I can be for myself and I feel great!

Now, I honestly believe that Jessica (or her people, rather) is smart enough to work out an endorsement deal where she isn’t legally forced to lose weight … but let’s be real here … of COURSE Weight Watchers is paying her and wants her to lose weight because they want to use her (and the rest of their celebrity spokespeople) as an example to others that their weight loss system works. I have NO PROBLEM with celebrity signing endorsement deals, in fact, I applaud any person who can get a deal like this … but I do bristle at the notion that Jessica Simpson is trying to make people believe that she is losing weight for herself and not because Weight Watchers is paying her as a spokesperson (it would be easy for her to pay Weight Watchers as a customer to lose weight “for herself”). That’s not to say that Jess doesn’t want to lose weight/get healthier but it feels extremely disingenuous to imply that she is losing weight all on her own and Weight Watchers is just paying her millions of dollars for fun. As a celebrity spokesperson, one who is paid exorbitant amonts of money, I would rather Jessica just fulfill her endorsement requirements and be open about her affiliation with the company she is working with. We know she is being paid to endorse and lose weight by Weight Watchers … it’s no big. While the company may not be “pressuring her” per se, they are most definitely paying her to lose weight.

Nicki Minaj Speaks On Summer Jam: ‘At A Certain Point You Just Want Respect’

We got to hear Lil Wayne‘s ridiculous explanation on the Nicki Minaj/Young Money/Summer Jam fiasco a couple of weeks back, and now we’ve got some words from Nicki herself. And thankfully, it’s not via another interview with Funkmaster Flex. Those two were seriously not working out for me on that last convo. This time, Nicki sat down with the UK’s Tim Westwood. “I want to let people know that I’m not getting on your stage, if you don’t have your mind right,” and other gems inside.

Nicki Minaj On Summer Jam, Respect, And Her Barbs:

Ok, um. I think I’m over the whole explanatory phase of this episode. I’m also over listening to Nicki Minaj tell us how many records she sold; she’s better than that, right? I mean, does she really need to convince us that she’s hot ish? We know! You’re Nicki Minaj! You sell records! But all of those records doesn’t make Starships a ‘real hip-hop’ song, which was all Rosenberg (of Hot 97) was saying. I listened to this interview because, silly me, I thought she was actually going to explain herself or admit that she just didn’t feel like performing… or something.

And I loooove that Tim Westwood started off the interview with, “I felt for you, I felt for you!” And then Nicki with, “It was gonna be shut dooown!” Yes. Had you actually performed. You would have shut it doooown. But ya didn’t. It’s fun to think about how cool it would have been if you did, right?

Lol, like I said. I think I’m over this. And the good news is, she says it’s all love with Hot 97 so I’m guessing she’s over it too.

Anybody else also trying to figure out where Nicki‘s real voice ends and where the accents and fun stuff begins? Do you think this (and her many other performative aspects) make her an easy target? I guess I’m really thinking that Nicki Minaj is a performer and her performance as an artist got dissed; but Nicki Minaj claims to have taken it personally. Why? We don’t even know who she really is as a person; how can we or anyone else really, really disrespect her?

Although, to be fair, at the end of the interview she says her Barbs see her more intimately than anyone else and I’ve never been to a show (nor am I a Barb), so maybe I’m just missing it.

Anyway, ya’ll know I love Nicki. Just no more Summer Jam talk please. Aggghhh.

Watch: Spike Lee’s ‘Red Hook Summer’ Releases Its First Trailer

The critically-acclaimed director (whose last feature film was 2008′s Miracle at St. Anna) finally has a trailer for Red Hook Summer, a film that has been quite busy making its way around the festival circuit. Lee decided to go a different route with this film, completely bypassing the studios and premiering the film at the Sundance Film Festival and keeping it all very indie. The highly-anticipated movie follows a young boy on his journey from the South to the Red Hook projects in Brooklyn (as if there’s any other city for a Spike Lee film), where he spends the summer with a zealous, religiously overbearing, and loving grandfather. Peep the first trailer inside!

Red Hook Summer: First Trailer

I’ve had a love/hate relationship with Spike Lee over the years. But truth be told, it’s mainly love, or respect. I was not a fan of Do The Right Thing until I started watching movies more closely, and saw a real genius in the cinematography of his work. Maybe it’s the written aspect of his pieces that doesn’t always quite click with me, but c’mon what am I really gonna say about Spike Lee? He’s awesome. That’s what I’ll say. And he married a Sarah Lawrence woman so there; he’s clearly a genius. Or insane.

Either way, I’m always excited to see new work from him. I wasn’t big on Miracle at St. Anna (especially when I kept hearing that it was very historically inaccurate), but I loved his documentary on the people affected by the politics of Hurricane Katrina, When The Levees Broke. This new film has few familiar faces which could be quite refreshing, although I’m still waiting for him to team up with Denzel again (Malcolm X! He Got Game! Mo Betta Blues?!).

Also, where is Zelda Harris– the little girl from Crooklyn?!

Spike Lee lovers, excited much? Spike Lee haters, care to share your thoughts on this trailer?

Beyonce Opening Act Luke James Motivated By Her 'Drive'

After opening for B in Atlantic City, New Orleans newcomer tells MTV News what he's learned from the Queen.

<P>It was the morning after <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/knowles_beyonce/artist.jhtml">Beyonc&#233;</a>'s triumphant <a href="/news/articles/1685932/beyonce-michelle-obama-atlantic-city.jhtml">second show in Atlantic City</a> when we bumped into Luke James by an elevator bank at the Revel resort. R&B's reigning diva had tapped the New Orleans native to warm up the capacity crowds as she staged her comeback run over Memorial Day weekend, and James had the unmistakable bop of a man who knows he's done something ... special.</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Luke James Learned To 'Give' From Beyonce" id="vid:787005" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>Signed to Island Def Jam but still largely unknown to all but soul-music diehards, James had just the night before slayed a roomful of women that included the first lady, Michelle Obama. Armed with a flirty falsetto, James tossed long-stemmed red roses and lines like, "Before I met you, girl, I never knew my heart could dance/ I was just a broken record of one-night stands," from his standout single "I Want You." So what did the handsome upstart think when he heard he'd be opening up for the Grammy winner?</P><P>"The first thing I thought I was, 'OK, I need a band, gotta get the guys together, what we gon' wear, how we gon' do it 'cause I know <i>she's</i> gonna do it ... and what songs," James recalled when he stopped by the MTV newsroom, fresh from the four-night stint.</P><P>After jotting down a few notes on his mental checklist, Luke let himself absorb the moment: "And then I'm thinking, 'This is just an amazing opportunity. ... I was just elated."</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Beyonce Gets Back To Business, Kicks Off Summer!" id="vid:785342" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>James has discovered up close what it means be a member of Queen B's court, not only because of the A.C. gigs, but because of their shared connection to Frank Gatson Jr., Beyonc&#233;'s longtime choreographer/creative director and now James' manager. Dressed casually in a denim button-down and a red knit cap that called to mind old photos of <a href="http://theselvedgeyard.files.wordpress.com/2010/10/marvin-gaye-denim-red1.jpg?w=600" target="_blank">Marvin Gaye</a>, the singer paused for a heartbeat before relaying what lessons he picked up from Mrs. Carter.</P><P>"What I learned from Beyonc&#233; is just the focus, the drive and to stay creative and to always give, just keep giving," he said. "Throughout the years that she's been doing it, since Destiny's Child to now, she's been giving.</P><P>"So this is the beginning for me ... I just want to remain giving and always [be] a necessity to people, you know?" he added thoughtfully. "Giving [fans] what they need. Charlize Theron Shows Off Her Shaved Head

A couple of weeks ago, we learned that actress Charlize Theron shaved her head for a role in the upcoming sequel film Mad Max: Fury Road. Since then, Charlize has only been seen in public wearing hats covering her new buzzed ‘do. Today, at last, Charlize lets her hair down, as it were, and finally ventures out hatless and gives us our first look at her newly shaved head.

She’s kept her new haircut hidden under an array of hats in recent weeks. But Charlize Theron finally decide to ditch the head wear and embrace her shaved look. The South African actress was spotted in Namibia this week with her son Jackson, revealing her dramatic buzz cut in all it’s glory for the first time. The 36-year-old and her little son Jackson wore co-ordinated red tops as they were spotted whizzing through the city. Charlize chopped of her trademark long blonde locks earlier this month to play Furiosa in Mad Max: Fury Road, the fourth film in the post apocalyptic series. The star said: ‘I feel like the original “Mad Max” created such a vivid world, that to go back and re-imagine it and kind of replay in that sandbox sounds like fun to me. George really created a female character that I’ve never read anything like this. I mean, I’m scared (expletive)! I’m very excited about it; I’m (expletive) dying! It’s been three years; it’s time to skin this cat already!’

Honestly, I’m not a big Mad Max fan so I’m not all that interested in this sequel film … but I do love Charlize and I trust that she will do an excellent job in the film. I’m certain it was not easy for her to agree to shave her head for this role but, clearly, she is committed to the part. She looks beautiful with hair, without … it doesn’t matter. With her new son Jackson in her arms, I don’t think I’ve ever seen Charlize Theron look more stunning :) The buzzed ‘do looks good on her, don’t it?

"R.I.P. Nora Ephron... Funny, charming, witty, full of heart, and one of the greatest who put it all down in timeless, quotable classics," singer/actor Justin Timberlake added.

Blige's first artist, and the single was called 'SuperLuva' [produced by Fernando Garibay]," NiR&#233; continued. "I had a chance to write with Mary and Swizz [Beatz] and Timbaland and Dr. Dre, who's a really good friend of mine."</P><P>After getting her writing chops up, meeting the right management and finding her A&R at Capitol Records, NiR&#233; was ready to give it her all for a chance to perform for the masses. Her fearlessness, fashion and electricity are depicted vividly in her video for "Inside Out," which was directed by <a href="http://londonalley.com/?director=hannah-lux-davis" target="_blank">Hannah Lux Davis</a>, who also directed videos for Shinedown and Anjulie, among others. NiR&#233; is inspired by some of music's biggest, baddest stars, included among them Missy Elliott, Lil Wayne, and <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/knowles_beyonce/artist.jhtml">Beyonc&#233;</a>.</P><P>"Beyonc&#233; is the perfect example of what a solo artist should strive for," NiR&#233; said. "If you want to be like 'boss-bitch-behavior'! When I'm in the gym and I'm tired and can't go anymore, I'm like, 'What would Beyonc&#233; do?' She wouldn't stop."</P><P>NiR&#233; AllDai will release her second club single, "Hella Bad," soon, with a radio single to follow. She plans to release her as-yet-untitled debut album sometime this year, and she also has her fingers crossed for another, long-awaited opportunity.</P><P>"I've been looking forward to the <i>Detox,</i> [album]' NiR&#233; said. "He's a genius. We have a couple of songs on there. So Dre, please!"</P><P>For more info on NiR&#233; AllDai, check out her <a href="http://nirealldai.com/" target="_blank">website</a>.</p>

Beyonce's 'Run The World' Started Off As 'A Joke'?

'It was a song we did, kind of like a funny, kind-of-a-joke song,' Diplo tells BBC Radio of B's 2011 single, which sampled his Major Lazer song.
By James Montgomery

<P>This may come as a surprise to devoted disciples of the Queen B, but according to producer Diplo, <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/knowles_beyonce/artist.jhtml">Beyonc&#233;</a>'s 2011 single "<a href="http://www.mtv.com/videos/beyonce/654804/run-the-world-girls.jhtml#artist=1236911">Run the World (Girls)</a>" actually started as "a joke."</P><P>"I think a lot of people don't even realize where that song came from," Diplo told <a href="http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/17907948" target="_blank">BBC Radio's Newsbeat</a>. "That song never really had a push. It was a song we did, kind of like a funny, kind-of-a-joke song."</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Beyoncé - &quot;Run The World (Girls)&quot;" id="vid:654804" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P><a href="/news/articles/1664181/beyonce-run-the-world-girls-video.jhtml">"Run the World"</a> was released as the first single from Bey's much-anticipated <a href="/news/articles/1666507/beyonce-4-album.jhtml"><i>4</i> album</a>, though it was met with a slightly <a href="/news/articles/1664218/beyonce-run-the-world-girls-video.jhtml">puzzled reaction</a> from some of her die-hard fans and failed to generate much heat on the charts, reaching only #29 on the <i>Billboard</i> Hot 100. Subsequent singles "Best Thing I Never Had" and "Love on Top" fared slightly better, going as high as #16.</P><P>Of course, Diplo isn't actually credited as a producer on "Run the World" (that honor would go to The-Dream, Switch, Beyonc&#233; herself and Shea Taylor), but he did snag a writing credit, thanks to the song's hefty sample of his Major Lazer track "Pon de Floor." But he did produce the <i>4</i> track "End of Time" and remembered the experience as a surreal one.</P><P>"We had to finish up a few records we were working with her on," Dip said. "That was super-weird, man. Like, I remember we were in the studio working with her and I <i>still</i> couldn't believe it."</p>

Beyonce Serenades Michelle Obama, Cements Comeback In Atlantic City

Queen B ascends her throne during the second in a four-night run of Memorial Day weekend shows.
By Rebecca Thomas

<P><b>ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey</b> &#8212; The "year of 4" continues.</P><P>Four months after giving birth to her first child &#8212; an arrival announced last August <a href="/news/articles/1669858/beyonce-vma-performance.jhtml">at the MTV VMAs</a> &#8212; <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/knowles_beyonce/artist.jhtml">Beyonc&#233;</a> returned to the stage Saturday night, on the second of a four-night run in this East Coast resort city. And it was a spectacular fitting her rising icon status.</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Beyonce Gets Back To Business, Kicks Off Summer!" id="vid:785342" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>So what kinds of clues get 20somethings calling you "the greatest performer" of your generation? Well, it's in the details. For one, Revel, the sparkling, 6.3-million-square-foot beachfront destination that played host to <a href="/news/articles/1685877/beyonce-memorial-day-atlantic-city-concert.jhtml">Beyonc&#233;'s comeback</a>, devoted a channel on its guest-room flat-screen TVs solely to B-related content: no weather broadcasts, nary a "Housewife" and no commercial breaks; just videos, all-star performances and more, all through Memorial Day weekend. It was evident in the distance traveled, too, with fans telling MTV News they'd made cross-country pilgrimages, while still others came from as far as Tokyo and South Africa to hail Queen B.</P><P>But those are just the hints, peripheral proof. The presence of First Lady Michelle Obama at last night's concert left little doubt that the little girl from Houston, who joined a girl group and then struck out on her own, had seen another benchmark in her relatively young career. After <a href="http://rapfix.mtv.com/2012/04/13/michelle-obama-thanks-beyonce-for-letter">exchanging letters</a> in recent months, with each calling the other a role model for girls, Obama turned up in a sleeveless green sheath waving like royalty from a balcony in Ovation Hall.</P><P>A little after 10 p.m., as the pounding opening march from "End of Time" kicked in, Beyonc&#233; appeared in silhouette; the sequins were hard to make out but the wind-blown mane was <i>impossible</i> to miss. Finally, B, stunning in hot pink Stuart Weitzman heels and a beaded body suit, appeared on the massive stage backed by her dancers.</P><P>"Atlantic City, snap your fingers," she commanded, launching into "Love on Top." Without missing a step of the New Edition-inspired choreography, B powered through the song's modulations in an extended vocal showcase. Then she took an exaggerated pause, as if to catch her breath (or to bask in the adulation?), before belting out a final coda. The 30-year-old's comeback was officially under way.</P><P>Pushing through hits from her debut solo effort, including "Naughty Boy" and the dancehall-infused "Baby Boy," and <i>Sasha Fierce</i> smashes like "Diva," B defied all post-partum laws as she kept pace with Frank Gatson's acrobatic dance style. ("Y'all don't know how hard I had to work. I had to lose 60 pounds!" she laughed to the crowd later. "They had me eating lettuce.") And just as songs like "Single Ladies" and "Run the World (Girls)" are meant to serve as empowerment manuals for women, it became clear last night that Beyonc&#233;'s choreography is meant to do the same: a series of sensual quickstep moves that revolve around the hips and legs. It showed in the Fosse-style swing and formations on songs like "Get Me Bodied," and the strut-heavy footwork on "Freakum Dress."</P><P>"Sasha Fierce disappeared, but y'all bringing her back," B joked midway through the euphoric two-hour set.</P><P>For one of our favorite numbers, "Party," the <i>4</i> singer donned full-on showgirl regalia in a heady rendition that saw confetti coming from the roof and dice-shaped beach balls being tossed through the crowd as dancers in large feathered headdresses magically turned up in the aisles.</P><P>There were ballads, of course, at Ovation Hall, the more memorable among them a tribute to Whitney Houston and a cover of Lauryn Hill's classic "Ex Factor." And if Beyonc&#233; reminded us of what we've lost in those gut-wrenching covers &#8212; she proved, too, that she's more than ready to carry the weight on her shoulders.</P><P><i>Share your reviews of Beyonc&#233;'s Revel shows in the comments!</i></p>
