Another slow weekend at the box office has led to a zombie takeover. "Warm Bodies" debuted to $19.5 million, and easily topped the only other new release of the week, Sylvester Stallone's "Bullet to the Head," which managed to muster just $4.5 million.
The zombie romance starring Nicholas Hoult and Teresa Palmer, in addition to taking the top spot at the box office, managed to score some of the year's best reviews, currently sitting at a 78 percent fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
The same cannot be said for Stallone and "Bullet to the Head." The Walter Hill-director film marks the second box office failure for a member of "The Expendables" this year. Arnold Schwarzenegger's "The Last Stand" has been pulled from wide release after just three weeks in theaters. To date, it has made only $11.7 million.
