Leo Needs A T.O., Plans A Break From Acting

Django Unchained

Leonardo DiCaprio's star power is enough to draw in the movie-watching masses, but it looks like the actor won't be headlining a film for a good while.

In an interview with German news outlet Bild, DiCaprio announced his plans to take an official hiatus from acting. "I am a bit drained. I'm now going to take a long, long break. I've done three films in two years and I'm just worn out," he said.

DiCaprio isn't one to turn away from hard work—the actor recently filmed three big-budget, back-to-back movies: He starred in Quentin Tarantino's "Django Unchained" and just wrapped the Martin Scorsese-led film "The Wolf of Wall Street." And on the promotion front, he still has to see the release of Baz Luhrmann's "The Great Gatsby" this summer (May 10).

But don't expect paparazzi shots of DiCaprio regaining his sanity on a remote tropical island. Instead, the actor revealed plans to take up with his environmental do-gooding again: "I would like to improve the world a bit. I will fly around the world doing good for the environment. My roof is covered with solar panels." Proving that it's an issue that he's certainly well versed in, he added that his car "is electric. A normal person does not drive more than 50 kilometres (31 miles) a day. That can be done with a plug."

He's also been rumored to be involved in "Live By Night," "The Devil In The White City" and "The Revenant," but given the news, these projects will most likely be taking a back seat. In the meantime, we've still got plenty of DiCaprio coming our way this year.
